Conservation

Basic rule, and for me, the first rule of Conservation “Leave life alone and undisturbed, it will flourish like you never could imagine”. Having said that, it seems to be hardly happening. In the name of conservation, people ear, they satisfy their own desires leaving wild at their mercy. We at WeRove do try to keep the wildlife undisturbed as much as possible and do not encourage any behavior which goes against nature. We should keep the carbon footprint minimal and try an alternate way of life when we are especially not in the urban areas. We must always carry trash to our cities back and try to avoid using habits which generate trash.

Importance of it

Earth’s natural resources include air, minerals, plants, soil, water, and wildlife. Conservation is the care and protection of these resources so that they can persist for future generations. It includes maintaining diversity of species, genes, and ecosystems, as well as functions of the environment, such as nutrient cycling.

Conservation is similar to preservation, but while both relate to the protection of nature, they strive to accomplish this task in different ways. Conservation seeks the sustainable use of nature by humans, for activities such as hunting, logging, or mining, while preservation means protecting nature from human use.

How one can contribute towards it

Just by doing your part:

  • Not bursting crackers
  • Not using old diesel vehicles, use public transport
  • Car pooling
  • TEACHING YOUR KIDS WHAT CONSERVATION IS.

Everyone has a role to play, even if they play it or not. For worse or for better.
