Cancellation & refund policy

The policy

1. Advance. To confirm a trip we take an advance of 25% by bank transfer or UPI. The balance is due 30 days before the trip starts. These terms can change for a specific itinerary, so please talk to us for your trip.

2. Refunds if you cancel. Refunds are a percentage of the amount you’ve paid, counted from the day we receive your cancellation in writing (WhatsApp or email counts).

Days before the trip starts Refund
90 days or more 90% (10% handling fee)
60 to 89 days 75%
30 to 59 days 50%
15 to 29 days 25%
Under 15 days, or no-show No refund

3. Costs we can’t recover come off first. Once we confirm your trip, we may pay forest-department permits, lodge or camp bookings and other large costs on your behalf. Whether these can be cancelled, in part or in full, depends on the location and the provider. Anything already paid that we cannot get back is deducted before the percentage is applied. If a cost can be cancelled, partly or fully, we pass that saving on to you. We’ll tell you which costs apply to your trip, in writing, when you book.

4. Change of dates. Date changes depend on availability. Any permit fees or deposits that have to be paid again will be charged at cost. Please talk to us as early as you can.

5. Credit instead of a refund. If you’d prefer, ask us about taking a trip credit for the refundable amount.

6. If we have to change or cancel. If we cancel a trip, or the forest is closed or travel is unsafe because of weather, floods, government orders or similar events outside our control, we’ll offer you a new date, a credit, or a refund of the amount we can recover. If We Rove cancels for any other reason, you get a full refund.

7. If you leave early or miss part of a trip, there is no refund for unused services.

8. How refunds are paid. By bank transfer or UPI, within 10 working days of agreeing the amount.
