Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 November 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to every trip and service arranged by We Rove (“we”, “us”). By booking with us you agree to them. If anything in your written itinerary differs from these terms, the itinerary wins for that trip.

2. Booking

  • We send you an itinerary and price in writing (WhatsApp or email) before you pay anything.
  • A trip is confirmed when we confirm it in writing and we have received your advance.
  • Prices are in Indian rupees and include all applicable taxes.

3. Payments

  • We take an advance of 25% by bank transfer or UPI. The balance is due 30 days before the trip. This can change for a specific itinerary, so please talk to us. Details are always confirmed in writing.
  • To avoid fraud, we only ever share our bank or UPI details directly, by phone or WhatsApp from +91 96543 43996. Please confirm on a call if anything looks unusual.

4. What’s included, and what’s not

  • In general we include: pick-up and drop between the nearest airport, railway or bus station and the location, food, lodging, and safaris or walks with guides. Some guests ask for only lodging, a guide and food, and we can arrange that.
  • Not included: extra food and drinks, tips, and flights or other travel to the location. We can arrange travel on request, at a higher price.
  • Your itinerary lists exactly what is included. Anything not listed as included is excluded.

5. Cancellations and refunds

See our Cancellation & refund policy. It forms part of these terms.

6. Changes

  • By you: date or group changes depend on availability and may cost extra.
  • By us: we may change an itinerary for safety, weather, forest closures, government orders or other reasons beyond our control. We’ll offer a reasonable alternative or the options in the cancellation policy.

7. Wildlife and forests

  • Wildlife is wild. We cannot guarantee any sighting. We improve your chances with the right season, zones and number of drives.
  • Safari zones, gate timings, vehicle allocation, closures and rules are set by the forest department and can change at short notice.
  • Please follow your guide’s instructions and the forest rules at all times.

8. How we travel (and what we ask of you)

We keep to our field rules: no playback of bird calls, no baiting or flash, keeping a respectful distance, small groups, using local people where we can, carrying out our rubbish, and respecting closures. We ask guests to do the same. We may end an activity, without refund, if someone’s behaviour puts wildlife, other guests or the team at risk.

9. Your responsibilities

  • Carry a valid photo ID for every guest (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or similar; passport for international guests). Names on permits must match your ID.
  • Tell us about medical conditions, mobility needs, allergies and dietary needs before you travel.
  • Children must travel with their parents or guardians. We’ll tell you honestly if a trip may be hard for a particular age group and can arrange special accommodations.
  • Drones are not allowed in protected areas.

10. Health, safety and risk

Travel in forests and remote areas has real risks: wild animals, rough roads, weather and distance from hospitals. By travelling, you accept these risks. We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance. We take care in planning and guiding, but to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, injury or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, or by third parties.

11. Other providers

We arrange lodging, vehicles, permits and guides with local partners and the forest department. Their own terms also apply to their services.

12. Photos

We may photograph our trips. We will not publish photos in which a guest can be identified without their permission. When you photograph wildlife, please do it in line with our field rules.

13. Complaints

If something goes wrong, tell us as soon as you can, ideally during the trip, so we can fix it. Write to info@werove.in within 15 days of the trip if you’d like us to look into it afterwards.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts that have jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on our website on the day you book applies to your trip.
